How it works

Office & commercial moving, done properly.

An office move has a different goal than a home move: the fewest working hours lost. That comes down to the order things leave the old space, labels that tell the crew exactly where each desk and cabinet lands, and timing that fits both buildings' rules.

Tell us the size of the office and anything heavy or sensitive when you book. Your move lead confirms the plan, the crew and the arrival window before the day, and stays your point of contact until the last desk is in place.

Planning around your workday

The smoothest office moves are mostly decided before move day:

  • Pick a date that misses your busiest days and deadlines
  • Ask building management at both addresses about elevator reservations, loading docks and move hours
  • Ask whether either building requires a certificate of insurance from movers, and tell us early
  • Label every desk, cabinet and box with its destination room or desk number
  • Have your IT provider disconnect and reconnect computers, servers and network gear

What to pack before we arrive

Empty desk drawers of loose items, box up files and personal things separately, and clear the tops of desks. File cabinets move best empty or close to it. If you'd rather not spend your team's time packing, add packing to the job.

Heavy and specialty equipment

Safes, large copiers and other unusually heavy equipment are reviewed separately, like any specialty item. List them when you book and your move lead will confirm what's needed and the price before move day.

Pricing

FAQ

Questions about office moves.

Call (210) 953-6399

How long does an office move take?

It depends on the size of the office, the stairs and elevators at both buildings, and how much is packed when we arrive. Your instant price shows a time range. For larger offices, call us and we'll plan it with you.

Can you move just a few pieces of office furniture?

Yes. Choose a partial move in the booking flow. The 3-hour minimum applies, so it's worth grouping anything else that needs moving into the same visit.

Do you move retail stores and other commercial spaces?

We move small commercial spaces as well as offices. Call us to talk through what's involved, especially fixtures or anything bolted down.

Our building needs a certificate of insurance. What should we do?

Ask your property manager exactly what they need and tell us when you book, so it's sorted well before move day rather than at the loading dock.
